Carlos Pina and Richard Adamow graduated from Prince Technical High School together.   Upon graduating, Richard Adamow went to Hartford State Technical College where he studied electrical engineering and  Carlos Pina went to work for Pratt and Whitney Aircraft as an electrician where he earned an (E1) master electrical contracting license.    Over the next 20 years they worked together privately on many low voltage projects.  In 1997 Richard Adamow and Carlos Pina launched their present company UNITECH SOUND AND SECURITY.   With their combined talents in the security and sound communication industry UNITECH began to service and install communication  projects utilizing the latest in technology system design.     Carlos Pina’s area of expertise is primarily with security alarms, card access systems, and closed circuit television surveillance installations.  Richard Adamow’s focus is sound communications such as nurse call systems, church sound, and school communication systems.   It is this collaborative effort which has contributed to their engineering the highest standards for comprehensive sound and security systems.
